DEPUTY PROJECT MANAGER HANOI L3 MISSION

Context	As part of the Hanoi Metro Line 3 Project (the city’s first metro line), Thales Transport offers a Program Manager Assistant position. Thales provides advanced communication, video surveillance, passenger information and supervision systems for optimized traffic and energy management on this new line under construction. These contracts include the Design, Development, validation, delivery, installation, integration and reception of the complete solution with the associated training tools. For this project Thales is in a Consortium with the companies Alstom and Colas Rail which supply, within the same contract, trains, depot equipment, power supply devices and railway signaling systems. The installation activities are carried out by a local subcontractor. This position is the opportunity to discover a company with a strong technical component, operational constraints and a demanding client.
Missions	You will actively assist the Project Manager in the below activities: Work as a Thales representative, actively answer and deal with the customer. Monitoring and document management in coordination with the planning unit based in Vélizy (France) Manage and resolve project administrative problem Follow-up of invoicing Follow-up of logistic and custom clearance activities Assist the monitoring of customer action plans Interact autonomously between Thales team and customer Participation in Customer meetings Preparation of Customer reports Operational monitoring of local subcontracting (consortium process, QA/QC) Monitoring of internal and customer action plans Development and monitoring of the project schedule in coordination with the project office unit based in Vélizy (France) Collection and monitoring of the various program, operational and technical indicators

REQUIREMENT

Preferred Experience / Key Qualifications

Project Management / Administrative / Technical background

Construction / Electrical / Telecommunications or Transport palatability is valuable.

Demonstrates good communication skill

Demonstrates good analysis and problem-solving skills

At least 2 years of installation / construction project management

Technical requirement : Tools, Langagues, Software …

Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, Primavera Vietnamese and English proficiency, French is a plus. Vietnamese candidate is preffered
