5. Abstract:
High-mass stars are formed within the massive clumps, deeply embedded in giant molecular clouds. Their formations could be studied via feedback on the surrounding medium. In this talk, we present our study focusing on feedback in the inner envelopes of star-forming clumps. For the first time, we show the emissions and kinematics of the inner envelopes in the 99 galactic star-forming clumps by mapping the 13CO(6-5) line with the APEX telescope. We found that the envelope sizes broadly vary from 0.2 to 4.4 pc. Additionally, as our clumps are at various evolutionary phases, it helps us better understand how they evolve with time. We found that the inner envelopes are brighter at more evolved sources, and the 13CO(6-5) line could probe the star-forming progress.
