At the conference, Assoc. Prof. Dinh Thi Mai Thanh presented the summary report of the achievements of the university throughout the year in 3 main fields of training, research and international cooperation. In terms of training, the university has launched 5 new training programs as well as the 4-year Bachelor program, in which there is one year English preparatory course for the candidates who have good academic knowledge and passion for science but need to improve their English proficiency before entering the 3-year official bachelor program. Especially, the percentage of enrolled students has increased by 66% in comparison with the previous year.
Additionally, the students of the university have achieved high results at 2018 National Olympiad in Physics, Chemistry and Maths. Furthermore, many received reputational scholarship to pursue further study in Master and PhD programs abroad such as France Excellence scholarship of French Embassy, CIFRE, Erasmus and Odon Vallet scholarships.
