According to the report of the International Air Transport Association (IATA), Vietnam is forecast to be in the Top 5 growing aviation markets in the world from 2015 to 2035. The strong growth reflects the increasing demand for air transport in Vietnam, bringing many attractive job opportunities in the aviation sector. However, human resources in this industry have not been met according to the growth demand, creating a big formula for ensuring service quality and sustainable development.

In particular, after the recovery period from the COVID-19 pandemic, airlines in Vietnam are developing many plans to expand the scale of their aircraft fleet by building up modern aircraft maintenance hangar systems. A typical example is at Long Thanh airport, each hangar of Vietnam Airlines has an area of ​​about 1 hectare, requiring the participation of about 300 maintenance and repair staff. This shows the great demand for specialized human resources in aircraft maintenance, repair, and related activities, opening up wide career opportunities for many workers.
